UBCMUN Press Conference

The Press Conference, held during the second day, showcases the work of both the IPC and delegates in other committees. In essence, this session allows delegates to talk about their individual and/or collective experiences in committee through questions posed by both by the IPC and fellow delegates.

Prior to the beginning of this event, each dais will be asked to select three delegates, who will publicly represent their committee. Once selected, these delegates will prepare a short speech about the current direction of their committee, which will be followed by a question period with IPC representatives. After this period, the wider audience of delegates will likewise be provided the opportunity to question those on stage.

Delegates chosen for the conference will have a maximum of sixty seconds to answer in any way they deem suitable. If at any point the audience chooses not to use this opportunity, the IPC will once again return to the mic for further questions.
